		Undercutting
		1. possible cause:  The sub-base itself or the layer under the material is too abrasive. --> The material itself or the layer under it is too abrasive.   Preventive measures: Try step-by-step cutting instead. Start with the top layer using a concrete cutting disc. Then change to an abrasive disc to work on the sub-base. 2. Possible cause: You are using a cutting disc to cut a material that is too abrasive. Preventive measures: Use the right cutting disc for the material. Refer to the application recommendations on the packaging or read the Product Recommendations.

		Excessive segment wear
		Possible cause: You chose a diamond cutting disc that may not be suitable for the material. The material is too abrasive.  Preventive measures: Choose a cutting disc that is suitable for the material. For abrasive materials, we recommend cutting discs with a hard bond, for example WPP.

		Glazed diamond segments
		Possible cause: You chose a diamond cutting disc that may not be suitable for the material. The material is too hard.  Preventive measures: Choose a cutting disc that is suitable for the material. For hard or very hard materials, we recommend diamond cutting discs with a soft bond, for example HPP, BPP or BPE.

		Radial run out
		Possible cause: The bore size of the diamond cutting disc is not the same as the backing flange of the grinder. Preventive measures: Make sure the bore size of the diamond cutting disc always fits on the appliance flange.

		Loss of power
		Possible cause: The cutting disc has overheated. This may happen if you use the wrong disc for the material. This problem may arise even if the disc is not adequately cooled by free cutting. Preventive measures: Choose the ideal cutting disc for the material using the four product pillars of Bosch diamond cutting discs or the Product recommends.

		Breakage of segments
		Possible cause: If you are cutting free-hand, the cutting disc is subjected to continuous, very heavy side loads. Preventive measures: Use cutting guides with integrated protective guard and dust extraction to fit your Bosch angle grinder. This prevents the cutting disc from tilting suddenly and breaking a segment. You can then make precise, right-angled cuts in all safety and with no dust.
